Riviana Foods Inc. is Carlisle's oldest existing  industry and one  of the largest employers in the community.  Formed in 1965, Riviana built its Carlisle facility in 1977 where it continues today processing and distributing rice and rice products.  Riviana is owned by Ebro Foods, SA which is the world leader in the rice sector.  With an average of 75-80 employees and a long history of community involvement, Riviana has proven itself to be an asset to our city. 

Pitonyak Machinery Corp

Pitonyak Machinery Corporation is located in Carlisle on Hwy 70.  As a  manufacturer of  BRANDT farm implements such as grain carts, rollers, levelers, and planters, they have provided area farmers with quality and innovative agriculture equipment for many years.  PMC began in 1913 as Brandt Machine Works which manufactured the first grain cart in 1947.  Now owned by Pitonyak Machinery Corp. (PMC), they continue improving product design  to meet the needs of farmers in the mid-South. 

Remington Arms Company, LLC

Remington Arms is located near the city of Lonoke, Arkansas.  With just over 1,000 employees, it  is currently the largest employer in Lonoke County.  Headquartered in Madison, North Carolina, they design, produce and sell firearms and ammunition for hunting, shooting sports, military, government and law enforcement.  Remington was founded in 1816 in upstate New York and remains one of the oldest operating manufacturers in the nation.
